I don't know if it is because it is Monday, or because it has warmed back up, but I wasn't the only living thing around here that appeared to be tired. I captured this pic of a squirrel sprawled out on a dead and broken branch trying to get comfy.
Sure enough, like humans, the squirrel squirmed around a bit and re-situated it's self til it found just the right position to take a nap. If only I had captured a pic of the squirrel yawning, it would have been the perfect picture story, lol. Have a great evening everyone!
lol awww the last pic is precious!!! He is all tuckered out.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I think he got tired of posing for me ;)
ReplyDeleteGreat pics, Vic!

ReplyDeletenoooooooooooo, those shots are fantastic Vic. Wow !! I cannot believe it !! Wonderful. YOu lucky fish you.
ReplyDeletetotally adorable..... love the shots!
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone, and I do count myself lucky to have been at the right place at the right time. I usually go out in the morning to take pics, and this was later in the day. Guess it helps to always be prepared with camera in tow!
ReplyDeleteI hope all these shots aren't coming from that old tree with the huge crack you is going on about. If it is and it gets taken down...MAN!!! just think of all the shots you will miss.
ReplyDeleteAnother great package from the viccles home front. xoxo
These are SO stinkin' ADORABLE!!! I felt like him yesterday . . . I SO wish I had had a handy branch to crash on!
ReplyDeleteYes Misty, makes me a bit sad to think of how much it will be missed for it's shade and for all of the birds and squirrels that inhabit it. Still no word from the tree trimmers on when they will be out, but so far it's still standing (knock wood).
ReplyDeleteCome next spring, a new tree will take it's place, or at the very least some tall shrubbery...
Lol, I am a wimp, I would want at least a pillow ;)
ReplyDeleteLOL . . . that would SO totally work . . . a big tree with sturdy limbs and long fluffy body pillows for weary people to stop and flop . . .
ReplyDelete...and maybe a safety harness...I don't want to roll out of bed :))
ReplyDeleteLOL . . . well . . . maybe you are more suited to a nice hammock, not too far off the ground . . . THOSE are very appealing and relaxing, too! ;o)
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness!!!!! I LOVE these pictures, Vic. I might beg to frame them for my family room. So cute!!!!!! A wonderful capture. Priceless!!!
ReplyDeleteaww LOL what very kewl photos!!
