The image above is what I see a lot of times when someone posts a video. Many times if some one has posted something from Youtube, I ask them for the link as well. Does anyone have a clue how I can get the videos to show without using a different computer? I am using windows 7...
Nope--can't help--good luck.
ReplyDeleteIn theory, clicking the little triangle should start it. If that doesn't work, I think you've had it.
ReplyDeleteIt could be one of your settings in the browser that is not allowing acrobat/flash/java to be loaded. You might need to install some of these drivers or uncheck a "block" in your options.
ReplyDeleteIt depends on the video as I have discovered I have to sometimes click that triangle couple/three times to get the video to even play...I think your problems stem from how the video was embedded the first place by the blogger. Better if you have trouble to just get the link.
ReplyDeleteNow couple youtube videos I have embedded play and look way clearer than the original video I sat and watched up on youtube...Go figure.
Sorry for not having any answers.
Vic, what type of Internet service do you have? Depending on the speed of your down load from your provider might possibly be the answer for that showing up on your screen.
ReplyDeleteIf you think it may be your flash, Adobe or Java script, just go to the adobe site and they have a tool to click on to test your flash drive. A small video comes on and if it works then your flash drive works properly. If I'm on a game site I just right click on the screen and then click the "About Flash" option and that takes you right to the test page.
If Adobe Flash isn't working right you have to remove it entirely from your computer through the "Remove Programs" and then re install it.
Jave should periodically prompt for an update. If you haven't recieved one in a while you may want to visit their site too. I am pretty sure Java is Under the name of "SUN"
Just settle down, and wait a bit. It's sure to begin soon.
ReplyDeleteGee if that would only happen to everyone maybe those people who spend their days trying to insure that EVERY video on youtube is ALSO posted on Multiply would find something else to do! ;-o
ReplyDeleteI have windows 7 Vic. the best thing to check is what George said.
ReplyDeleteAgrees with Oz.
ReplyDeleteI usually just reformat the hard drive.. re-install every blessed piece of software i think i will need ..prune a few out et..cleans everything right up.
ReplyDeleteor, perhaps your mouse needs a new computer???..
Does U tube open for you easily out of Multiply? If it does, then its not your internet speed. And if your Flash isnt working..then you cant play any farm games either. If nothing works Vic..just pm me..I'll put on my cam and entertain you.
ReplyDeleteLol Zzee...Yes Youtube will work for me along with games, it is just some videos (not all) won't work for me when embedded here on multiply.... (feel free to entertain me though, I am easily amused, lol)
